Privacy policy
How project enquiries and website information are handled. This policy foundation must be reviewed against the final business details, providers and retention arrangements before launch.
Who handles your information?
Edgeways Digital Solutions Ltd, trading as Edgeways Digital, based in Tamworth, Staffordshire, is responsible for information submitted through this website. Privacy enquiries can be sent to stuart@edgewaysdigital.com.
Information you choose to provide
Enquiry and estimate forms collect your name, email, optional contact and business details, requirements and estimate answers. When you continue past the first step of the estimate form, your contact details are sent to Stuart so he can follow up even if you do not finish the questions. No customer email is sent until you submit the completed request. This information is used to respond to your request, prepare an estimate and discuss a potential project. It is not added to a marketing list.
Purpose and lawful basis
Responding to a requested quote may involve steps at your request before entering a contract. General correspondence and proportionate security measures may rely on legitimate interests. Optional analytics and advertising measurement rely on your consent. The final processing register should confirm these bases for the operating business.
Delivery and security
Submissions are validated on the server and delivered using the Resend email service. Information is accessible only to those who need it to handle your enquiry and the providers operating the service. The final hosting and email providers, processing locations and any international transfer arrangements must be recorded before launch.
Retention
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as needed for the enquiry, follow-up and applicable record-keeping obligations. The business must confirm and apply a specific deletion schedule before launch, including email records and backups. Rate-limit identifiers are temporary and do not contain form content.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to certain processing. You can withdraw optional tracking consent through Cookie settings. You may raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Analytics and advertising
Optional measurement records events such as opening a demo or completing an estimate. Names, email addresses, phone numbers and project descriptions are excluded. Campaign parameters are retained for the browsing session only after relevant consent.
